Friend Card using CR84FN colors

I needed to make a card for a friend of mine that needs cheering up, so I thought I would go ahead and make one with the colors from this 2 week challenge of CR84FN.

I just got a new stamp from the Archiver's 40% off stamp day Monday and I just had to make a card with it. It is from the Unity Stamps Bella Doilies. I stamped it using Memento ink on green cardstock and then cut it out and put it on the card using dimensionals to raise it. On top of the doily I used some roses from Recollections that I found in my stash. It was great, because there were two shades of gray!
The card base is lavender with a gray mat. I found a small butterfly punch that I used to punch out the 5 butterflies. I used a purple Spica pen to add the details to them. I found the green polka dotted ribbon in some of my scraps that I had left over from another time.

This is a side view so you can see the roses better and the PTI tiny tag that I used. I stamped the tag using a Lilac SU marker and then Basic Gray SU marker for the saying.

Hope you enjoy my second card using these colors.

Love to get comments.

I had a Sympathy card to make, and I thought the colors this time would work perfectly for it. I used gray cardstock for the base mat, the celery color for the 2nd mat. I stamped the Gerber Daisies using Memento ink and then used three violet Copic markers, V000,V01, V05. I have played around with them before, but this was my first attempt to use them and do the blending with them on an actual card. The center of the daisies I used three different yellows, Y00, Y02, Y15, and a YG63 Copic for the stems. The sentiment was stamped with SU Basic Gray marker, as well as the verse inside.

I had another first tonight, and that was taking my own pictures, rather than asking my DH to do it, and downloaded them. I still need practice after taking about 10 different ones, I really only got about two that I thought were OK. Still need to keep practicing :-)

Love when you leave me a comment.

CR84FN 2nd Color Challenge Card

Here I am at another challenge, better late than never. I enjoyed working with the colors this time, as pink or colors in the pink family are my favorites. I just got a new embossing folder from SU that I thought would go real well for this challenge. I then used Daffodil Color box ink to go over all the embossing except for the green leaves which I used Wild Wasabi SU ink marker.

I then got a new Cricut cartridge, Flower Shoppe, and made the scalloped rose. Then using some bright pink cardstock and pale pink patterned paper I cut the birdcage and flowers out of the Cricut Bloom Lite cartridge. I also cut the bird and butterfly from the same cartridge. I used small gems on the antennae of the butterfly and the Stardust pen to add some glitter to the birds chest.

If you click on the images it will make them bigger so you can see the details better.

Till next time :-)

Hugs

Hope you enjoy the card. I love to get comments.
