Oh Wow!! can't believe it has been so long since I posted on this. I will really try and keep this up better :-)
I'm going to post some pictures of cards that we made in the April and May class.
This was done using the Fancy Fan embossing folder and Strawberry Splash cs.
This was a star quilt pattern using the swiss dot embossing folder.
This is a Waterfall card using Melon Mambo embossing powder and the Petite Petals stamp set. Also used Melon Mambo and Very Vanilla cs.
This is an "S" fold card using Crisp Cantalope cs and DSP along with
whisper white. All Occasions paper piercing pack was used on the white
oval.
These were the cards that we made in May for the classes.
Thoughts and Prayers stamps were used here on Pistachio Pudding cs, along with Melon Mambo cs and ink.
Summer Silhouette stamps were used and fussy cut out to help the card look 3-D effect.
Summer Silhouette was used here again with Rich Razzleberry csm ink and DSP. Also used the Scallop Tag topper punch.
We used two step stamping with the Stippled blossom stamps and soft blue ink and melon mambo ink and cs.

Hi All,
I have set the dates for the April and May card classes. We will be making 4 cards using Spring colors. I don't have all my samples made yet, as I am ordering some of the stamps I will be using. The classes will be:
April 7 - 10am - 2pm;
April 13 - 2pm - 4pm;
April 14 - 1pm - 3pm.
They will be $20.00 each unless you are Hostess Club member and then it is only $15.00. We will be making an Easter card in the April classes
In May, the dates for the classes are;
May 3 - 1pm - 3pm - which is National Scrapbook Day
May 4 - 2pm - 4pm
May 5 - 12pm - 2pm
The prices are the same as the ones in April. We will be making a Mother's Day card in he May classes.
I look forward to crafting with you :-)
I will be posting pictures of the Hostess Club gathering today later this evening or tomorrow.

Hope you are having a good Sunday
I will be placing one last order this week for the items of Sale A
Bration. If you still have a free item that you want to get now is your
chance before the end of this month. Remember if you spend $50.00 you
get to chose a free item
Let me know either here or send me an email at pennynelsn@gmail.com. I
will be putting the next cards for a class in April on my blog in a day
or two. Subbed all last week, so that has put me a few days behind on
my cards. We are having a gathering of the Hostess club members Thursday
at 12:00. We always have a great time, but have room for a few more
people to join us. We are doing a salad potluck this time Looking forward to seeing everyone. Hugs!!!!

Friend Card using CR84FN colors
I needed to make a card for a friend of mine that needs cheering up, so I thought I would go ahead and make one with the colors from this 2 week challenge of CR84FN.
I just got a new stamp from the Archiver's 40% off stamp day Monday and I just had to make a card with it. It is from the Unity Stamps Bella Doilies. I stamped it using Memento ink on green cardstock and then cut it out and put it on the card using dimensionals to raise it. On top of the doily I used some roses from Recollections that I found in my stash. It was great, because there were two shades of gray!
The card base is lavender with a gray mat. I found a small butterfly punch that I used to punch out the 5 butterflies. I used a purple Spica pen to add the details to them. I found the green polka dotted ribbon in some of my scraps that I had left over from another time.
This is a side view so you can see the roses better and the PTI tiny tag that I used. I stamped the tag using a Lilac SU marker and then Basic Gray SU marker for the saying.
Hope you enjoy my second card using these colors.
Love to get comments.

I had a Sympathy card to make, and I thought the colors this time would work perfectly for it. I used gray cardstock for the base mat, the celery color for the 2nd mat. I stamped the Gerber Daisies using Memento ink and then used three violet Copic markers, V000,V01, V05. I have played around with them before, but this was my first attempt to use them and do the blending with them on an actual card. The center of the daisies I used three different yellows, Y00, Y02, Y15, and a YG63 Copic for the stems. The sentiment was stamped with SU Basic Gray marker, as well as the verse inside.
I had another first tonight, and that was taking my own pictures, rather than asking my DH to do it, and downloaded them. I still need practice after taking about 10 different ones, I really only got about two that I thought were OK. Still need to keep practicing :-)
Love when you leave me a comment.
