I needed to make a card for a friend of mine that needs cheering up, so I thought I would go ahead and make one with the colors from this 2 week challenge of CR84FN.
I just got a new stamp from the Archiver's 40% off stamp day Monday and I just had to make a card with it. It is from the Unity Stamps Bella Doilies. I stamped it using Memento ink on green cardstock and then cut it out and put it on the card using dimensionals to raise it. On top of the doily I used some roses from Recollections that I found in my stash. It was great, because there were two shades of gray!
The card base is lavender with a gray mat. I found a small butterfly punch that I used to punch out the 5 butterflies. I used a purple Spica pen to add the details to them. I found the green polka dotted ribbon in some of my scraps that I had left over from another time.
This is a side view so you can see the roses better and the PTI tiny tag that I used. I stamped the tag using a Lilac SU marker and then Basic Gray SU marker for the saying.
Hope you enjoy my second card using these colors.
Love to get comments.

I had a Sympathy card to make, and I thought the colors this time would work perfectly for it. I used gray cardstock for the base mat, the celery color for the 2nd mat. I stamped the Gerber Daisies using Memento ink and then used three violet Copic markers, V000,V01, V05. I have played around with them before, but this was my first attempt to use them and do the blending with them on an actual card. The center of the daisies I used three different yellows, Y00, Y02, Y15, and a YG63 Copic for the stems. The sentiment was stamped with SU Basic Gray marker, as well as the verse inside.
I had another first tonight, and that was taking my own pictures, rather than asking my DH to do it, and downloaded them. I still need practice after taking about 10 different ones, I really only got about two that I thought were OK. Still need to keep practicing :-)
Love when you leave me a comment.
